But how do you build your body to take on the toughest rides? How do you improve your efficiency and reduce your risk of injury? Dominic Rohan-Gates, #TeamDassi athlete, believes the answer doesn’t lie in long runs, interval drills and overgeared bike sessions. Not exclusively, anyway. If you’re here, reading these words, we’ve no doubt you know of the London Bike Show: the UK’s largest cycling exhibition. And although we did too, there was nothing that could’ve prepared us for the response we received during this year’s four-day event, as we proudly demonstrated what Dassi does in our own Individually British way.

Because as Team Dassi stood on our stand, at the entrance to the ExCel, we realised that our brand is truly making an impact on the business of British cycling.

Where is your bicycle from?

Sure, you may have bought it from a bike shop or specialist website, but, think about its core components. Where were they made, and using what model? No matter what you ride, unless it's a Dassi, the answer is anywhere but Britain. That's because, simply put, producing products in the UK is expensive. But as a former Rolls-Royce engineer, I know you can't put a price on individually British innovation.
