As the cycling scene in Asia continues to grow rapidly, so does the desire of riders to own the most up to date technology, coupled with hand-built craftsmanship and personalisation. Velo 6 HK, based in Central Hong Kong Island is one of a new type of coffee shop catering for the cycling market. As well as great coffee, it also offers a range of bespoke bike brands from around the world for its discerning customers to purchase to order.
Dassi travelled to Hong Kong to present the Graphene Interceptor™ to Velo 6 customers, before enjoying a ride around Hong Kong Island’s scenic and challenging landscape. Friday Morning saw the Interceptor™ make its first ascent of Victoria Peak, a local icon for cyclists where no ride is complete with heading up and taking in the views of the Harbour below as the city wakes.
Velo 6 and their customers were excited to hear about the advantages that the Graphene Interceptor™ offers. In an area where climbing is always just around the corner, the lightweight frame, allied to the increased power transfer when pedalling, makes the bike perfect for the steep ascents of Mount Austin. Customers were able to ask questions about the bike and find out more about the exciting direction Dassi is moving with the use of the Graphene composites in the near future.
