At the end of last year, while meeting with some staff and students at the University of Bristol to discuss various research projects, Stuart took the chance to present the Dassi prize for the ‘Best Mark in CDT Taught Component’ to student, Vincent Maes.
Dassi are working closely with the University of Bristol and we’ll be updating our blog with regular articles on the research that is being carried out, by post graduate student Tom Hounsell, himself a keen cyclist, who like Stuart built his own bike from scratch.
Through our relationship with the University of Bristol, we also work with the National Composites Centre (NCC). The establishment of the NCC is part of the UK Government’s National Composites Strategy, which highlights the importance of composites to UK manufacturing and the ability to succeed in highly competitive global markets. The NCC brings together entrepreneurial academics and businesses to develop and manufacture high-quality composite products.
