Mark Buckingham

Mark Buckingham started running at the tender age of 6, winning national championships as a junior and representing Great Britain at events including the World Junior Championships in Italy; the European U23 Championships in Germany; and the World University Games in Turkey.

After suffering a running injury in 2010, Mark started attending bike criteriums, which sparked an interest in duathlon. He quickly moved into the Elite field, and onto the Elite London Triathlon, in which he finished 28th.

Since then, Mark has continued to grow as a triathlete, competing in ITU World Triathlon Series events around the globe.
